Where She Went is the sequel to the stellar If I Stay. Three years have passed since the first book ended and (YOU REALLY HAVE TO READ THE FIRST BOOK) Mia had walked out of Adam's life. Mia graduated from Juilliard and was poised to start touring, a star on the classical musician circuit. Meanwhile, Adam has become a rock star and has a celebrity girlfriend. He is about to start on a tour with his band performing their newest album. The night before he leaves New York to start the tour in Tokyo, he notices that Mia is playing at Carnegie Hall. Almost against his will, he buys a ticket and is reunited with her. This story is told with many flashbacks and so it a becomes a mystery with the reader eager to find out why Mia dumped Adam and whether there is any hope for a reconciliation. Beautifully told. Anyone wanting a good romance or is passionate about music should enjoy this.
