Batman: War Games, vol 3: Endgame; graphic novel; 200 pagesThe conclusion to this storyline was disappointing, especially considering how strongly it started out.
Batman's plan to unite all the gangs under his own leadership has failed, and now things are worse than before: now, the new police commissioner has issued a shoot-on-sight order for ALL masked vigilantes, Batman included. On top of that, Spoiler has been captured by Black Mask, and revealed the location of Oracle's base, placing Barbara Gordon in mortal danger.
I felt like there were too many different storylines going on to easily wrap up here, and that the attempts to do so were a little sloppy. We're left with Batman & co. not much different than when this arc started (with the notable exception of Spoiler, whose death scene was almost enough to make me stop hating her. Almost).
