Seven Paths to Death by Dorothy and Thomas Hoobler 192 pages

This is the sixth episode in the Samurai Mystery series by the Hooblers. Yes, I believe that I have read all of them. In this,Seikei, the adopted son of Judge Ooka and the ninja Kitsune are both racing to find an unusual treasure. They have each seen a partial piece of a treasure map tattooed on the backs of different men. Set in eighteenth century Japan, the Hooblers include authentic cultural details to give the readers the feeling of time and place. It is not necessary to read these books in order, although I would probably recommend reading the first book, The Ghost in the Tokaido Inn to meet the major players.
