A Rule against Murder by Louise Penny, mystery, 322 pages. This was the first of Penny's mysteries that I have read, and while I liked the character of Chief Inspector Armand Gamache well enough, the book itself was rather tame and predictable. Fans of Christie or Dorothy Sayers, or anyone looking for a drawing-room mystery set in Quebec will like this one.
