The Money Culture

The Money Culture/Michael Lewis 282 pgs.

In my effort to read all books by Michael Lewis, I reached back to 1991. This is not my favorite book of his but it is interesting to read up on when the economy depended so much on the Japanese and if they had economic problems, so did everyone else. In the 80's Japan was buying tons of our real estate and government securities. Now Japan can't keep a prime minister in office for 12 months. Luckily China is now buying up all of our government securities and other assets. Good for the (recent) history lesson but I'm looking forward to moving up in time and continuing my reading.
