A very present narrator "louder" than Lemony Snicket interrupts this rendition of Hansel and Gretel to share information on all manner of things with the audience. Very droll, and definitely not for tender young reader, this un-Disneys Grimm with tidbits from The seven ravens, The robber bridegroom, The devil and three golden hairs and Hansel and Gretel.
