Citrus County/John Brandon 215 pgs. Wow, I'm not sure what I think about this book. It is a seriously dark story of a couple of teen agers and a teacher who are all a bit messed up, some more than others. Parts were funny but in that "I can't believe I'm laughing at this" sort of way. Parts were very creepy. It didn't occur to me to put the book down so I guess I liked it but the characters are disturbing and the actions and thoughts of the people here will make you uncomfortable. I don't want to spoil the plot but things look bad for a long time but in the end there is a glimmer hope (for most of the characters) but maybe it is just a misdirection. I am intrigued enough that I will read the other book by this author.
