Three Black Swans by Caroline Cooney 276 pages

It took me a long time to figure what was going on in this story. Cooney slowly unravels this original story about triplets discovering their true identity and sisterhood. Missy, the most outgoing character, gets an identity to create a hoax at her school to make it look like her cousin is actually her long lost identical twin. She talks Rick into making this announcement on the school's live TV morning announcements. Before you can say UTube, this announcement goes viral and is sent to another girl living in a different state. As always with Cooney's books, pacing is fast, and dialogue is crisp. Each character: parent, daughter, classmate is fully drawn. Even reluctant girl readers won't be able to put this one down.
