Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World by Haruki Murakami, 400 pages.
Murakami is one of my favorite authors and in this novel he does not disappoint. Maybe he confuses me a little, but then I'm easily confused. The unnamed hero faces criminals and opponents in the physical world, in cyber space and in his own mind, imagination, and memory as this imaginitive, almost surreal novel twists and turns. Murakami is like no other.
