A Short Guide to a Long Life by David Agus, 190 pages
In this aptly named short guide, Agus, a medical doctor, gives a list of recommendations for healthy living, including what to do and what to avoid. (Think of this as the medical version of Michael Pollan's Food Rules, which Agus name-checks a couple times.) I can't say there was much in here that I hadn't heard before, though there's something to be said about having everything condensed into one short volume. One other note: I wouldn't recommend the audiobook of this, which gets VERY repetitive during the third section, which outlines recommendations for health care at different ages.
