The Loney by Andrew Michael Hurley, 295 pages.During their family's annual religious outing to a remote coastal area in the northwest of England, Tonto and his somewhat disabled brother Andrew witness a miracle, but not the kind of miracle of which their devoutly Catholic parents would ever approve. It's a decently atmospheric and creepy tale, with plent of scary local characters. Worth a read.
