Rosebush by Michele Jaffe 326 pages
Jane wakes up in a hospital to find herself paralyzed, a victim of an accident, a hit and run accident according to her mother and friends. As Jane begins to remember bits and pieces she realizes that it could not have been a random accident, but a vicious attack by a friend. Each of her friends seem to have different accounts of the fatal party. An anonymous caller leaves repeated messages warning her that her time is almost up. Jane knows that the attack is related to an earlier death of her friend, Bonnie. A death that was meant to look like a suicide, but was in fact, a murder. With friends like hers... a sly puzzle.
