Will Grayson is a shy 16-year-old in the outskirts of
Chicago who has few friends other than the fabulously gay, outspoken, and huge
Tiny Cooper, who’s working on a musical based on his life. Then there’s Will
Grayson, a depressed gay kid who lives on the other side of Chicago’s suburbs
and is dealing with his sorta-friend Maura and his poor single mom. Naturally,
the two come together on one fateful night, changing both of their lives.
I
loved this book, and read it straight through in one sitting. Chapters alternated between the two Will Graysons' points of view, which was nice. If I wasn’t too
happy with the way one Will Grayson was handling a situation, I knew I’d get a
break with the next chapter. In a word, this book was awesome. Read it.
