The Grimm Legacy by Polly Shulman 325 pages
This has a great premise. A New York high school student who needs some extra cash (like who doesn't) is recommended for a job at the New York Circulating Material Repository. A kind of library that has magical objects rather than books. Trouble happens when some employees begin borrowing some of the treasures. Well, wouldn't you be tempted? (The pneumatic tube delivery system took me back to my days working at the U of I Library.)
