The Lindbergh Child by Rick Geary 80 pp.
From the "Treasury of XXth Century Murder" graphic novel series. Subtitled "America's Hero and the Crime of the Century." Geary uses his artistic talents to examine the events surrounding the kidnapping of the Lindbergh baby in 1932. Bruno Richard Hauptmann was tried, convicted, and executed for the crime but the way the story is presented makes it doubtful he acted alone if he did, in fact, commit the crime at all. Once they had a case against him, it seems the search for accomplices pretty much stopped. Geary's pen & ink artwork is well suited to these crime stories, giving them a film noir feel.
