A Bride's Story vol. 2 by Kaoru Mori 195 pp.
This series goes beyond the usual Manga in both it's setting, the 19th century Silk Road, and it's story. In this episode, the young bride, Amir, literally fights against her family who want her to leave her child husband to marry another. Even though the people of her husband's village find Amir's ways to be strange, they take her side and drive off the family members who have come to repossess her. As in the previous volume, the artwork is richly detailed. I look forward to the next installment.
