Really awesome poetry book by an Iowa City poet :) She plays with words A LOT. Practically every cliche or turn-of-phrase you can think of has been turned upside down and reinvented. Also some very off-beat love poems. All in all, very lovely.
Also Cole Swenson was in town this weekend for the 75th Anniversary of the Iowa Writers' Workshop. Be jealous ;)
