What goes on in "this town"? All kinds of things that could curl your hair. This town is Washington DC, our beloved capital where everyone is in the business of making life better in America, right? Oh wait, maybe they are more interested in making money and consolidating power. Remember that recession that we are just starting to exit? Didn't happen in DC where full employment and high salaries are the norm. Government is big business and big business is constantly investing in government. Leibovich has been watching this game for years and now he shines some light and humor on a place we all hope will do us more good than harm. I wish I could say I had more confidence after reading the book but not sure "the club" really has my best interests at heart.
