Vanessa Pierson is a young blond covert ops CIA agent. She is working hard to capture an international arms dealer, Bhoot, who has been wrecking havoc throughout the world. She has an informant who is going to provide information about a secret nuclear weapons facility in Iran. She meets her informant but they are ambushed and he is killed before spilling his information. This scenario repeats itself. Somehow Bhoot is onto informants and a Chechen sniper is dispatched. The sniper is efficient and effectively blends in enough to walk away from his hits.
This is an action packed book with a little illicit spy love on the side. Vanessa is a bit of a free agent but always has the security and best interest of the country at heart.
