Bad
Monkey by Carl Hiassen, This one will be enjoyed by fans of Hiassen who don't mind a few gaping plot holes. The author has it all laid out in his typically convoluted style, and at first glance, it seems to hold together, but even a mild re-assessment after the secrets are revealed show some need of foundation work. Add to that, having the audio read by Laugh-In's Artie Johnson, with his distinctive (and to me, unpleasant) voice was another error. I had to stop listening and finish with the print version. Not my favorite Check our catalog. Downloadable Audio. |
