Peter and the Shadow Thieves by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, 556 pages

In this second book of their series of Peter Pan prequels, Barry and Pearson take Peter away from Captain Hook and Neverland, and back to England on a mission to help Molly Astor and her father avoid the Others, who are attempting to steal the starstuff. (This makes a lot more sense if you've read Peter and the Starcatchers.) This time, the Others are aided by the not-quite-human Ombra, a being that can control people through their shadows. It's a fun story, made even better by the audiobook, which was read by the wonderful Jim Dale.
