Thank You Jeeves by P.G. Wodehouse, 307 pages.
I have often enjoyed reading or listening to Wodehouse's Jeeves and Wooster stories over the last twenty years or so. This story involved Bertie trying to work out an escape from a sticky situation on his own, without Jeeves's help, and since he's not that bright he chose to go black-face with a group of black musicians. It all just sounded so casually racist that I think I may be done with Jeeves and Wooster.
