Bad Feminist by Roxane Gay, 320 pages.Gay is a wonderful essayist, whether she is talking about gender issues, sexual violence, race, or Scrabble. She is a self-aware and complicated person and doesn't see any reason that all of the issues she discusses shouldn't be complicated too, and not prone to easy generalizations. Very informative writing, witty and humorous even when discussing serious issues.
