Kid President's Guide to Being Awesome by Brad Montague and Robby Novak, 240 pages
Kid President is universally known by this point. I think I've seen a total of two videos of his, but even I know who he is and the joy and awesome he works to bring into this world. While this book bills itself as a "guide to being awesome," there's a fair amount in here about Kid President himself, Robby, and his brother-in-law, Brad, that it feels slightly biographical. It's filled with tips like treating everyone like today's their birthday, mailing your friends corndogs (KP's love of corndogs is so great that it makes me want a corndog, and I don't even like corndogs), and giving out high fives. That all sounds like pretty standard how-to-be-awesome stuff, but it's interspersed with interviews with people doing amazing things to make the world a better place, as well as memories and stories from Robby and Brad about what life for them has been like since Kid President became a star. It's a fun book that will make you feel awesome and motivate you to make the world more awesome.
