Sure enough Bruce Eric Kaplan WAS a child. This book proves it to me, a person born within a year of my birth date and thus has almost identical memories of TV shows, attitudes and events that I have. Of course I was not part of Bruce's family and the quirks of his parents were not the quirks of my parents. But still, it is a little unsettling to hear about his childhood and realize we were probably both watching the Munsters at the same time.
Funny, witty and talented, Bruce has done ok for himself despite some of the oddness of his formative years.
