Doctor Sally by P.G. Wodehouse 130 pp.
This is classic, delightful, funny Wodehouse. Bill Bannister is enamoured of no-nonsense Sally Smith, licensed physician and avid golfer. But he is currently involved with Lottie Higginbottom, ex-wife of his friend, Squiffy Tidmouth. Bill's uncle, an obsessive golfer, is upset at Bill's choice of female companionship but doesn't realize that Bill is smitten with Dr. Sally. Confused yet? It's all delightfully silly and resolved at the end.
