Bewilderment:
New Poems and Translations by David Ferry. 113 pages. This beautiful collection of poems is lyrical and accessible to the average reader (maybe I'm giving myself too much credit, reading-level wise). I really enjoyed and heartily recommend this book, even for those who are normally luke-warm about poetry. And it won the 2012 National Book Award for poetry, so I don't think I'm alone here in that opinion. |
