Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walter 337 pgs.
As you read through this book, you wonder "whose story is this?" There are lots of characters and many of them appear regularly as the story jumps back and forth in time. Most of them are likable and interesting but you really aren't sure how this is all going to end up relating. I mean, there are some obvious connections but much more is not so obvious. The story unfolds slowly and is engaging from the start. In the end, we find out who thinks it is their story and you will kind of laugh in disbelief. Very enjoyable book that has the best hotel name in the world...The Adequate View Hotel.
