Lovers Lane: The Hall-Mills Mystery by Rick Geary 80 pp.
This is the latest installment of the Treasury of XXth Century Murder graphic novel series. I got hooked on these a couple years ago. Once again Geary does an excellent job of telling the story of the unsolved murders of a New Jersey minister and the choir member involved in an illicit affair. Geary details the discovery of the bodies lying side by side on the ground, the contamination of the crime scene, the unreliable witnesses, and the trial of Rev. Hall's wife and brothers. The case is still unsolved 90 years later. Once again Geary's clean black and white illustrations and concise text combine for another winner in the true crime genre.
