A tale of two cities, by Charles Dickens

Yeah, best of times, worst of times, etc.  Some in my book club discussed wanting to read some Dickens over the summer and decided to dip a toe in with this classic – ‘cause it’s shorter than most of the rest.  A surprising number hadn’t read it.  I remembered loving it as a romantic teenager when we read it in school.  And it was the best, worst, etc.  I found the early pages a bit more of a slog than I remembered, but became caught up with the increasing pace, drama, and excitement of the last third of the book.  Ah, poor Sydney Carton…..it is a far, far better thing…..etc.  250 pp.
