Safe
House by Chris Ewan, 442 pages. When Rob wakes up in the hospital after a motorcycle accident his questions about the health of his passenger go unanswered when the police insist he was found alone at the side of a lonely stretch of road. He begins to investigate the disappearance of this attractive young woman, and finds himself investigating the recent death of his sister as well. This book never really sells its setting, or its characters. It ends up being a diverting read, but nothing all that special. Check our catalog. |
