Mooncop / Tom Gauld, 96 pgs.
Like all cops, Mooncop likes coffee and donuts. Living on the moon seemed like a good idea but now the colony is winding down. The donuts were served through a machine but corporate has now upgraded to a staffed store. This clerk may actually be the last "civilian" after an early settler and her dog take a transport out. Mooncop isn't working to hard on crime but his requests for transfer have been denied. You wonder if it is a bureaucratic mix-up, just like the decision to place a store where a kiosk once worked. Gauld's drawings are so simple yet convey so much. I love his work and this is no exception.
