How to be good / Nick Hornby 305 pgs
Katie and David have been married for years. She is the good one of the duo, a doctor and a caring wife and mother. He is the "bad" one, malcontent, negative and cynical albeit funny. But Katie has just had an affair and David has found a new friend who is a faith healer and puts him on the path to changing the world through good deeds. This is almost more than Katie can handle. First off, David is now advocating allowing homeless people live in their spare bedroom and is giving away their excess. Katie is flummoxed and trying to figure out how to handle this change. Suddenly, she isn't so good by comparison. Like many other Hornby titles, this was fun to read and made me think a little too.
