College Sunrise is a finishing school run by husband and wife, Rowland and Nina. They are trying to support themselves while Rowland writes his novel. The small school is populated with interesting students including Chris who is also working on a novel that is gaining interest among publishers. For each measure of attention Chris gets, Rowland gets very jealous and can not work on his own book. The situation gets a little crazy which maximizes the entertainment value for the reader. Nina takes a lover and realizes she and Rowland don't have a future but she is trying to get through the school term before any big changes. The audio version of this book is well read by Nadia May.
