The Rosie Effect

The Rosie Effect / Graeme Simsion 344 pgs.

Rosie and Don are still newlyweds when Rosie finds herself pregnant.  This was not in keeping with any agreed upon plan so it is upsetting for Don who has a bit of a melt down.  Now things are a little tense.  Don is getting advice from his growing cadre of  friends including his new landlord and rock star George. Don is trying hard not to stress Rosie out because it will be bad for the baby but he finds himself in some interesting situations (as always). Readers of the Rosie Project will be happy to revisit Don and Rosie. This book is not quite as sweet as the first one but maybe it is only because there were fewer surprises.  I like following Don through problem solving and his interactions with others.
