The intern's handbook

The intern's handbook / Shane Kuhn 276 pg.

John is your typical guy...young, in good shape, an orphan whose experience in the foster care system led to his first murder(s)...Yes, John is a highly trained assassin working for HR, Inc.  HR, Inc. places their employees in intern positions where they infiltrate the system and then "hit" the target as requested by some customer.  It is best to make it look like and accident or like someone else did it.  As you can imagine, most of the targets are people that many would like to see dead.  John is nearing retirement. He is almost 25.  You can't really pull off the "intern" thing much past that age.  This job is complicated.  The target is a partner in a major law firm who is under VERY tight security.  In fact, the actual target needs to be determined.  It could be any of the three partners.  John starts doing what he does best.  He meets Alice, a recent graduate who is a new hire at the firm.  Alice is...interesting...to say the least.  John has never had a problem with personal relationships because he has never had any.  Alice is different and John knows it.  He is trying to figure out a lot of things about himself and his life PLUS get the job done to the satisfaction of his boss Bob who can be a little demanding.  Action packed and very fun to read, highly recommended.
