The Rules of Civility by Amor Towles

The Rules of Civility by Amor Towles, 355 pages.
Katey Kontent, twenty-five and confident in her own abilities, moves through a Manhattan society that was worlds away to her when she was growing up in Brooklyn. With her boardinghouse roommate Evie, and their new friend Tinker, they set out to conquer the town. And then tragedy strikes.
I read this for book group back in May. The book has already been reviewed more compently by Sally, Christa, and Karen.

The audiobook is admirably read by Rebecca Lowman.
