Worth It...Not Worth It by Jack Otter; personal finance; 144 pages
I normally don't have the patience to make it through personal finance books, but Otter's books is short and sweet, and full of pictures! Otter breaks things down into simple choices: is it better for your finances to use a debit or credit card? To rent a house or buy one? Then he devotes one page to telling you why in simple, jargon-free language. Of course, its simplicity means that it might gloss over some of the finer points of each issue, but mostly this book just confirms using common sense for most of these decisions (Otter's biggest point: spend less than you make each month!).
