Jack cheats on Deb and she finds out when the girl sends a box with every text and email printed out to humiliate Deb. The box is accidentally delivered to their daughter and so the kids find out about the affair. In the rest of the book, the relationship of Jack and Deb works themselves out. They have two kids and they are angry and confused. The stories of how things work out are pretty standard and I wish they were more interesting.
