Dying: a memoir

Dying: a memoir / Cory Taylor, 141 pgs.

Out of treatment options for melanoma related brain cancer, the author confronts her impending death by thinking through the typical things, and some not so typical things.  She tells about her anger, her sadness, her ideas about suicide.  We learn a bit of her personal history, her family and her career.  She is a little sentimental but not overly so.  When talking about her mother, she confesses that she still misses her.  Generally, a book by a woman who deals with her near future with good humor and grace.
