A set of short stories many of which revolve around gender and sexuality. Identity is a common theme, even in stories featuring "traditional" relationships. The opening story is my favorite. It features two sex workers who are starting a new friendship. What emotions are real? Humor is sprinkled about but certainly not all stories have a lighter side. The darker stories seem all too real.
This is the debut work by the author and it is impressive.
