I should have known better.

  1. Seriously? Thanks. I had just put that back on hold after hearing someone go on and on about it. Now I can, if I am reading your review correctly, unhold it.

  2. I too am one who can not see the attraction to this book. It ended up on many "best of" lists and was talked about on Fiction-L and all I could think of was "predictable trash with stupid characters". After reading your much more telling review (and so delightfully short), I feel better that I'm not the only one who couldn't find something redeeming about this book.
