Talking As Fast As I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls, and Everything in Between by Lauren Graham, 224 pages
Actress Lauren Graham is perhaps best known for her portrayal of fast-talking, coffee-mainlining single mom Lorelai Gilmore from Gilmore Girls, a show that recently received a mini-series-esque revival on Netflix. In this light memoir, Graham discusses her experience working on both the original series and the reboot, as well as sharing some thoughts on her personal life.
It's one of the fluffier memoirs I've read — Graham seems to be adhering to the old "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" mantra — with most of the insight coming during the section on the Gilmore reboot. I'm a HUGE Gilmore Girls fan, and I'd recommend the audiobook (which Graham reads, and I listened to) for other such fans. Otherwise, you're probably OK to skip it.
