The mysterious affair at Styles / Agatha Christie 196 pgs.
A classic Hercule Poirot mystery set in an English village, this is the first book Agatha Christie published. Originally published during WWI, this book had its American debut in 1920.
Although Hercule Poirot is said to be at the end of his career, he deftly manages a case of elderly Mrs. Inglethorp whom, it seems has been poisoned. Everyone in the household is a suspect except for one other visitor who is known to Poirot and is our narrator.
I listened to this on audio and the narrator was passable.
