The revolution was televised: the cops, crooks, slingers and slayers who changed TV drama forever / Alan Sepinwall 388 pgs.
Sepinwall is a TV critic who dissects 12 great shows making the point that television has never been better and that this is truly a "golden age" for drama. I'm not really much of a TV watcher but I am familiar with many of the 12 shows that he picks as his proof and agree whole heatedly with "The Wire," "Sopranos," and "Friday Night Lights" and many others included that they make engaging and interesting entertainment. I'm in the middle of an obsession with "Breaking Bad" right now so it was great to read that chapter and confirm just how good it is aside from my own reaction. If you are into TV drama, would be an interesting book for you.
