Grace Coddington started out in London as a model and then became a magazine fashion editor. She gained some fame in the world of us "little people" after being featured in the documentary "September Issue" which dealt with the publication of the 2007 September issue of Vogue magazine. I think everyone thought Anna Wintour would be the most popular person in that movie but instead it turned out to be Grace. Her memoir tells about much more of her life than that issue and that movie. She comes across as a very down to earth person who has been in the thick of fashion all of her adult life. I enjoyed reading about a life so unlike my own. Interesting lady.
