Randall Munroe is the genius behind the comic xkcd and a person that I long ago decided I would read whatever he writes. I'm intrigued with "Thing Explainer" where he insists on explaining technical or scientific things but limits himself to the most popular 10,000 words. SO, no technical jargon here. And most of it is brilliant...as are the illustrations but sometimes the simple words are not enough. Also, there is a LOT of very tiny type which makes those of us of a certain age struggle a bit.
I will still read everything he writes but next time might buy a better pair of glasses.
