Crooked by Austin Grossman, 355 pages.Nixon's rise to power tracked as a result of occult secrets he observes and investigates along the way, with Henry Kissinger as one of the most powerful sorcerers of the ages. It's a fun read, but it doesn't quite match the power and imagination of the author's Soon I Will Be Invincible.
