Success through stillness: meditation made simple / Russell Simmons 209 pgs.
Russell Simmons is successful in business, media, and music. He attributes his success to his meditation habits. He meditates twice a day for 20 minutes and this book tells us why and how. He seems to make a lot of good points. If he attributes his success to learning how to get in touch with his inner thoughts and feelings through meditation and yoga, how can you argue with it? He gives lots of examples of others who credit their habits with their success as well but also gives examples of "regular" people who have improved their lives through these practices. We aren't all going to turn into Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres or Russell Simmons if we meditate but we might turn into a better version of ourselves. What more can you ask for?
