Ernest used to work at the bank and he still sometimes thinks he does. It is getting too hard to take care of him due to Alzheimer's disease so he moves to a home. At the home, he meets many others with typical inflections of the aged. Some are worried about being kidnapped by aliens, some are reliving their prime (in their minds). Ernest's roommate is a character but learns to care about his roommate enough to go to the Alzheimer's unit with him.
